Amazon to provide Supported Internships through DFN Project

USP College are proud to announce a new partnership with DFN Project and ECL to provide 12 Supported Internship roles at Amazon’s site in Tilbury.

This is the first time supported internship opportunities have been available at Amazon’s site in Tilbury. It is brilliant news for the College’s supported learners as they will get the opportunity to learn on the job for a year with and to gain invaluable career skills for their future. 

All teaching will be based onsite at Amazon, Tilbury. The internships are currently planned for 5 days a week from 10am-4.30pm with lunch and transport included.

Programmes like this one really does help transform the lives of young adults who need additional learning support. It is empowering and helps them enter the workplace with confidence.’

DFN Project provides real work experience combined with training in employability and independent living skills delivered in a business setting to help young people make successful transitions to productive adult life. It is in partnership between a host business, education provider, and professional adult supported employment provider. The goal is to provide full-time paid work for interns in an integrated setting.
