Open Evening – Skills for Employment & Supported Internship Programmes

Your Pathway to Employment Success Starts Here!

Are you looking for a practical, career-focused education to help you transition into the workplace with confidence? Whether you need structured support through an internship or a skills-based programme to prepare for employment, our Skills for Employment & Supported Internship Programmes at USP College are designed to help you develop essential workplace skills and gain valuable real-world experience.

These specialist courses are designed for students with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who need tailored support and structured learning to build confidence, independence, and employability skills.

At USP College, we offer two distinct courses, tailored to individual needs and career goals:

Skills to Employment Progression (STEP) Programme – A structured, work-focused study programme for young people aged 16 to 18, designed to develop employability skills, improve English and Maths, and provide real-world work experience.

Supported Internship – A specialist programme for young people with recognised learning difficulties or disabilities, offering a combination of classroom learning and hands-on work placements with the aim of securing paid employment or further training.

Join us at our Open Evening to explore both options and find out which programme best suits your skills, aspirations, and career goals.
