Caring Beyond the Classroom

A current A-Level student of USP College, Palmer’s Campus, has been volunteering for two life-changing charities close to her heart.

Lily Sharp, who is a current student at Palmer’s Campus, has taken her warm-hearted attributes outside of the classroom and has been volunteering for Dotties Journey and Children With Cancer Trust. We are determined to make a difference at USP College in our local and broader community, as are our students. Here is what Lily had to say about why she chose to volunteer.

I have volunteered for ‘Dotties Journey’ and ‘Children With Cancer Trust’ to help run events and raise money to go towards the two charities.

I picked these charities to volunteer at, as my sister was diagnosed with a brain tumour, so the money was raised for her future care and treatments and for charities that have helped her and my family very closely.

I’ve learned from our family experience, that it’s always good to donate to charities and help by volunteering. You never know when these charities could help you or your family. Your donations make such a difference to the patients and families all around the world.

You can follow @dotties.journey on Instagram to show your support for such a touching story.
