Media Producers work on films, TV and radio to create programmes with directors and other production staff. You will arrange funding for projects and keep the schedule to a set timescale and budget.
This is a responsible role and you will be overseeing the process from start to finish.

You will need to take opportunities and be flexible with your working hours, schedule and even location as some contracts could require you to travel around the world.
If you want to specialise in a particular area, volunteer on similar projects and build up a network of contacts within that field so you hear about new opportunities as they arise.
There’s no fixed promotion but you could start your own studio or work as an executive producer for a TV or film company.
