At USP College we ensure all our efforts are focused on the success and wellbeing of our students.

There are a variety of routes your young person can take when leaving school and a variety of levels in which they can study. Below is a brief outline of each of the areas we offer at the college.

Post 16 Education

Foundation Learning

Aimed at those who would benefit from learning within a supported environment. We focus on progressing students so they become confident individuals.

Foundation Learning

Academic (A-Levels)

For those who wish to study at university or want to go straight into employment, A-Levels are a great way to combine a variety of subjects to broaden their knowledge within these areas. A-Level courses are generally two year courses and are assessed by exams.

A-Levels

Professional (Vocational)

Offering a variety of levels from 1 – 3 this is a great way for students to progress through education. With the Level 3 courses being equivalent to A-Levels they are also a good way for students to develop the skills needed to succeed both at university and in the workplace.

Vocational courses (BTECs)

T-Levels

These combine hands on training with academic study. Perfect for those who are ready to enter the workplace in a sector of their choice.

It is never too late! With a variety of courses to help you gain new skills our evening courses could help you progress to university or secure your dream job, best of all you could study for FREE.

For those who have achieved a Level 3 qualification or equivalent and want to widen their knowledge within a specific area.

We also set classroom expectations for all our students, so they are ready to learn.

Be reliable

Being on time and organised is professional if we all attend on time, we create a productive learning environment.

Be engaged

Save your headphones for outside the classroom - you need to be focused on communicating with your teacher and peers.

Be presentable

Ditch your coats and hats, durag and hoods while in college - look professional.

Be ready

Please have your equipment ready and check your mobile phone is on silent and in your bag.

Be visible

Identify yourself as a student by wearing your lanyard at all times - it will help to keep you safe in college.

Be respectful

Being a professional individual by not only being respectful of staff but also your peers and the environment.
