What will I study?

Our Financial Studies A-Level will allow you to gain an understanding of the knowledge and key skills needed to understand the financial services industry. You will develop your skills across the banking, investment and insurance industries. You will learn a wide range of skills through analysing, evaluating, research and potential future career options.

Modules

Unit 1 – Financial capability for the intermediate and short term
Unit 2 – Financial capability for the medium and long term
Unit 3 – Sustainability of an individual's finances
Unit 4 – Sustainability of the financial services sector

Entry requirements

  • Maths and English GCSE at Grade 5 or above
  • A total of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above
  • A keen interest in Banking, Investment or Insurance
