As a college, our strategy is Career-Focused Learning and ensuring that the learner experience and our relationship within our community, local and regional employers, are at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for a cleaner to work on week days to maintain the high cleanliness standards of our Seevic campus.

Cleaning duties will involve, emptying bins, hoovering, sweeping & mopping floors, wiping down and disinfecting hard surfaces as well as cleaning toilets & shower area.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure designated areas of work are left in a safe, clean and hygienic condition.
  • Manual cleaning is undertaken in accordance with service best practice methods
  • Manual cleaning tasks inclusive of but not limited to mopping, hoovering, wet wipe, dusting, polishing and changing waste bins.
  • Appropriate use of cleaning products/materials (as trained), handheld and powered equipment required to complete cleaning tasks
  • Maintain required standards of Health and Safety at all times for self, colleagues and others
  • Any other duties relevant to the nature of the post.

This role is considered exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
