USP College was formed in 2017 following the merger of Seevic College in Benfleet and Palmer’s College in Grays. Later in 2021 we opened our XTEND Digital Campus in Canvey Island to support our dedication to digital innovation and extended reality.
The college’s roots trace back to 1706, when Palmer’s first opened as a charity school founded by merchant William Palmer for the parish of Grays. Seevic Campus later opened in 1972, serving as a Sixth Form college for the local community.
We are dedicated to connecting your passion to purpose, providing the tools, expertise, and practical experience needed to thrive in today’s competitive landscape. Our strong partnerships with leading universities and businesses ensure that, upon leaving, you will have not only a qualification but also access to opportunities, networks, and clear career direction.
The William Palmer Trust has supported the College over a number of years, allowing the College to operate, update its infrastructure and support learners.
The trust still supports learners at USP College Palmer's Campus through financial assistance as well as support prize and award ceremonies.
