Taking your end goal and working our way backwards - we want to see you succeed and make sure that you have the skills universities and employers are looking for.
Our career-focused approach equips you for the high-end career of your choice. You'll gain work ready skills, industry knowledge, work experience and a great portfolio that will give you a competitive edge when you apply for university or your first job.
We offer a wide choice of A-Level subjects and combinations - many of these aren't offered anywhere else locally and you can create your own individual study programme. We also offer professional courses like BTEC, AAT, UAL, CHACHE and OCR, as well as apprenticeships, foundation learning, adult courses and Higher Education programmes.
Going to college is not like being at school. If you're looking for more freedom and a greater sense of independence, somewhere that will treat you like a young adult, but still help you when you need it, this is the place for you.
Our teachers regularly spend a day in industry so they're in touch with the changing world of work and what employers are looking for. They'll pass on this knowledge and understanding to you.
We'll treat you as an individual - not a number. Our relaxed dress code means that, within reason, you can wear what you want! And our staff are friendly and approachable. This is a college where you will be accepted and can be yourself.
Our professional development days give you industry insights and the work ready skills that employers love - for example, the ability to use key IT packages, the confidence to make a presentation, and the communication skills to talk to people at different levels in an organisation.
Whatever courses you take, you'll be connected to employers in your chosen industry sector through meaningful professional development days, work experience, voluntary work and/or our College Companies. These offer the chance to work on live projects and meet real deadlines. They could also lead to great references, the offer of a holiday job or even full-time employment.
We know that life can be tough sometimes. If you're struggling, we'll give you the support you need. Our dedicated wellbeing team will help you build resilience and find ways of coping with stress. We also have counsellors on campus to guide you through any difficulties, whether inside or outside of college.
Everything we do at USP College is rooted in our desire to always look to the future and explore how we can do things better. The result? A lively environment, fun and engaging lessons, and teachers that will push you to do your very best.
To put it simply, our students do really well. They go on to jobs in the City and exciting degree courses at their chosen university. They become bankers, graphic designers, accountants, teachers, software engineers, lawyers, media producers, nurses, medical scientists, marketing professionals and more. They go out into the world and make a difference. And if you join us, you could too.
We have something for everyone, school leavers, sixth-form and college leavers and adults looking to re-train or up-skill.
We offer a wide range of vocational qualifications, all designed to get you into the career you want!
Offering adults the chance to learn new skills and gain nationally recognised qualifications.
